Below is a showcase of some fully accomplished, high-impact projects that highlight our capabilities and experience as a trusted government projects partner.
1. Solar Energy Projects
Rural Electrification through Solar Mini-Grids (2019 – 2022)
We supported the government in sourcing designers, procurement, and in deployment of solar mini-grids in over 50 off-grid communities across Northern and Eastern Uganda. This project improved access to clean and affordable energy for more than 100,000 people and small businesses.
Soroti Solar Power Plant
One of Uganda’s first grid-connected solar power plants, the Soroti Solar Plant (10 MW), was commissioned in partnership with international developers and Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited (UETCL). We assisted in local logistics, land assessments, and compliance management.
2. Mega Construction Projects
Karuma Hydro Power Project (600 MW)
A landmark infrastructure project, the Karuma Hydro Power Plant significantly boosted Uganda’s power generation capacity. Our role included sourcing of essential construction materials, workforce support, and equipment leasing for civil works.
Isimba Hydro Power Project (183 MW)
We sourced auxiliary services and construction equipment during the development of Isimba Dam, including the sourcing of concrete machinery and structural steel components.
3. Mineral Mining & Processing
Kilembe Mines Rehabilitation
We were engaged in the early rehabilitation phase of Kilembe Copper Mines, supporting with geological assessments and provision of mineral exploration equipment.
Gold Refinery Setup in Entebbe
Our team facilitated the procurement of high-grade mining and refining equipment for one of Uganda’s first licensed gold refineries, supporting responsible and traceable mineral sourcing.
4. Road & Railway Construction
Kampala–Entebbe Expressway (51 km)
As part of Uganda’s first toll expressway project, we supplied heavy construction machinery, survey equipment, and road safety infrastructure.
Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) Preparation Phase
We worked with the Ministry of Works and Transport in the preliminary phases of the SGR project, offering route mapping support, geotechnical equipment, and right-of-way data acquisition tools.
5. Airport Construction
Entebbe International Airport Expansion
In the recent upgrade of Uganda’s international gateway, our company supported logistics and supplied heavy-duty machinery for runway extension, terminal construction, and airfield lighting systems.
6. Renewable Energy
Biomass & Solar Hybrid Projects (2020 – 2023)
We supplied integrated energy systems combining solar PV and biomass gasifiers to power health centers and agro-processing facilities in rural districts.
7. Medical Equipment & Supply
COVID-19 Emergency Response (2020)
During the pandemic, we played a critical role in supporting Uganda’s Ministry of Health by supplying oxygen concentrators, mobile ICU units, personal protective equipment (PPE), and diagnostic kits.
Supply to Regional Referral Hospitals
We facilitated the distribution of modern diagnostic and imaging equipment to hospitals in Mbarara, Gulu, Arua, and Mbale under a World Bank-funded health strengthening program.
8. Machinery and Equipment Supply
Construction Equipment for Local Governments
We supplied over 150 units of road construction and maintenance machinery including graders, bulldozers, compactors, and excavators to districts across Uganda under the Ministry of Local Government.
Agricultural Mechanization Program
Our team successfully delivered mechanized farming tools such as tractors, planters, and irrigation pumps to farmer cooperatives under Operation Wealth Creation.
Mining & Minerals
9.Gold Export Surge – Uganda
In 2023, Uganda’s gold exports experienced a significant increase, reaching $2.3 billion, up from $201 million the previous year. This surge is attributed to new processing plants, such as Wagagai Mining Ltd, and favorable export policies, highlighting the country’s growing role in the global gold market.
