Rural Electrification — Solar Mini-Grids
Sourcing of designers, procurement and deployment of solar mini-grids in over 50 off-grid communities across Northern and Eastern Uganda — improving clean, affordable energy access for more than 100,000 people and small businesses.
Soroti Solar Power Plant (10 MW)
One of Uganda’s first grid-connected solar plants, commissioned with international developers and UETCL. We assisted with local logistics, land assessments and compliance management.
Karuma Hydro Power Project (600 MW)
A landmark project that significantly boosted Uganda’s generation capacity. Our role covered sourcing of essential construction materials, workforce support and equipment leasing for civil works.
Isimba Hydro Power Project (183 MW)
Sourced auxiliary services and construction equipment during the development of Isimba Dam, including concrete machinery and structural steel components.
Kilembe Mines Rehabilitation
Engaged in the early rehabilitation phase of Kilembe Copper Mines — supporting geological assessments and provision of mineral exploration equipment.
Gold Refinery Setup — Entebbe
Facilitated procurement of high-grade mining and refining equipment for one of Uganda’s first licensed gold refineries, supporting responsible, traceable mineral sourcing.
Kampala–Entebbe Expressway (51 km)
For Uganda’s first toll expressway, we supplied heavy construction machinery, survey equipment and road safety infrastructure.
Standard Gauge Railway — Preparation Phase
Worked with the Ministry of Works and Transport on preliminary phases: route mapping support, geotechnical equipment and right-of-way data acquisition tools.
Entebbe International Airport Expansion
Supported logistics and supplied heavy-duty machinery for runway extension, terminal construction and airfield lighting systems in the upgrade of Uganda’s international gateway.
Biomass & Solar Hybrid Projects
Supplied integrated energy systems combining solar PV and biomass gasifiers to power health centers and agro-processing facilities in rural districts.
COVID-19 Emergency Response
Supported Uganda’s Ministry of Health with oxygen concentrators, mobile ICU units, personal protective equipment (PPE) and diagnostic kits during the pandemic.
Regional Referral Hospital Supply
Facilitated distribution of modern diagnostic and imaging equipment to hospitals in Mbarara, Gulu, Arua and Mbale under a World Bank-funded health strengthening program.
Construction Equipment for Local Governments
Supplied over 150 units of road construction and maintenance machinery — graders, bulldozers, compactors, excavators — to districts across Uganda under the Ministry of Local Government.
Agricultural Mechanization Program
Delivered mechanized farming tools — tractors, planters, irrigation pumps — to farmer cooperatives under Operation Wealth Creation.
Uganda’s Gold Export Surge
Uganda’s gold exports reached $2.3 billion, up from $201 million the previous year — driven by new processing plants and favorable export policies. A market we serve through our minerals sourcing services.
